If you look for a fairy-tale and a country of magnificent beauty, just come to Serbia. Sunk into peace and greenery relax but also intoxicate all the senses. Serbia is really an ideal place for recreation, hunting and sport fishing or an exciting photo safari.

Serbia is one of the richest European hunting grounds, for both the big and small game. As for the small game, the most hunted ones are the rabbits, pheasant, partridges, wild gees and ducks and other swamp birds. Serbia and Vojvodina plain owns 65 hunting grounds (big and small game) on 700.000 hectares of territory with over 18.000 of big game registries: 4000 stags, 6000 does, 5000 wild boars, 1000 fallow deer and 2500 other big game and 30.000 of small game: 5.500 rabbits, 5.800 pheasants and 10.200 wild ducks, 70.000 pheasants chicks are produced annually.

Hunting Ground "Vratna" is situated 250 km of Belgrade near the town of Negotin, with very proud and rich history, on the hunting area of 1300 ha. Fallow deer, mouflon, does, wild boars, rabbits and pheasants reside there. Natural beauties of woody hills are combined with a cultural and historical monuments. The very famous monastery called "Vratna" is located in the center of the hunting ground. Vratna is the unique natural setting created by water and stone, river and mountain. Lodging is provided in the hotel in Negotin and surrounding. The villages of Rajac, Rogljevo and Stibicka Pivnica near Bukovo monastery are of ethnographic interest.

Hunting Ground "Deli Jovan" is situated 250 km of Belgrade, down the great Danube river, between Donji Milanovac and Negotin on the area of 13.000 ha. Stags, does, wild boras, rabbits, pheasants and partridges are hunted here.

Hunting Ground "Alija" is situated 280 km of Belgrade near the town Negotin, on the area of 2000 ha with fallow deer, mouflon, wild boar and doe game. Lodging is in the hotel in Negotin town.

HUNTING GROUNDS IN VOJVODINA PLAIN

Vojvodina is region of the northern part of Serbia, mostly plain, with mild climate. Vojvodina is real treasury of nations and different cultures on a relatively small area. This region has also a long hunting tradition. Near capital city of Vojvodina plain, Novi Sad, there are two hunting grounds - "Plavna" and "Koviljski Rit".

Hunting Ground "Plavna" covers the area of 2.619 ha and the main big game species are deer and wild boar followed by the roe deer. The pheasants are hunted in the open part of hunting ground with the altitude of 80-87 m. big game hunting is being realized from high hunting blind. This hunting ground also includes a polygon for group hunting on wild boars. Lodging is provided in a comfortable hunting lodge inside the hunting ground nearby the river Danube. There is a possibility of visiting famous monasteries, lakes and ethno farms.

Hunting Ground "Koviljski Rit " near Novi Sad covers the area of 4.305 ha. It is situated in a floodable part of the river Danube. The main big game species are wild boar and roe deer. Small game such as wild ducks and geese and pheasants are hunted in this hunting ground. This is the plain type of hunting ground with the altitude of 78-84m. the major part of hunting ground comprises forest. Group hunting on wild boars is being organized in this hunting ground. Lodging is provided in the hotel in Novi Sad town.  

Hunting Ground "Morovic" in the Bosut Basin is situated 100 km west of Belgrade in beautiful oak woods of the lower Srem region. The habitat is favorable for deer and wild boars breeding, and in the valley near the rivers Sava, Bosut and Studva, conditions are favorable for marsh birds, especially wild ducks. Accommodation (for 55 persons) can be arranged in the hunting lodge, or in wooden bungaloves of highest category. For the hunters dogs can be kept in boxes.

Hunting Ground "Deliblato sand" is a hunting ground northwest of Belgrade on the area of 33.600 ha in Pannonia plain, surrounded by three rivers, Danube, Tisa and Karas. It represents an interesting surrounding where forest and steppe are combined. This ground is famous for stags, does, wild boars. A part called "Labudovo okno" is specially interesting for hunting wild ducks and geese. It is their winter residence on the area of 2000 ha of water surface. Big game hunting is being organized both in fenced and open part of the hunting ground. Deer and wild boar hunting is being organized from high hunting blind. This is the plain type of hunting ground with the altitude of 70-85 m. It is situated 150 km from Novi Sad and 50 km away from Belgrade airport. Lodging is provided in a hunting lodge or in nearby hotels.
